Default Suggestion

hi im new to the site and feel that when i ask advice im sometimes doing peoples heads in, it is difficult if your a newbie if you dont know your way around the site, and what hardware and software is needed for any device. i and everybody else is grateful for the posts and tuts etc every 1 puts up thankyou
This is just a suggestion, i think there should be an area where every1 can look, say for instance a pace Di4001 box where it would have what is needed to mod it, ie hardware, software, and a guide.

Different experiensed members have ways of moding things, but to stop people like myself asking the same questions i think it would be easyier if the information was all together in one window, and maybe the most up to date methods.
This is only a suggesion and hope this is read as a friendly post, ps, A BIG THANKYOU TO RONSTER FOR ALL THE HELP AND AVICE

There are files and some tutorials available from the Private FTA download links. We can't put files or too much information on the forum itself for legal reasons.

Thanks for the suggestion though, We are always looking for ways to improve the forums

Nice idea - not practical. Basically you are suggesting step by step instructions on how to defraud a UK based pay tv provider should be posted on the open forum.....

How long do you think the forum would last if that happened? The VM security goon squad would be down on the owner like a ton of bricks in no time flat. Also anyone posting such guides would be open to prosecution as well - it happened at the beginning of the year when some of the cable sites were busted.

Make no mistake - the VM/Sky guys keep an eye on the hobby forums to see whats being discussed.

I agree with 666 - You need to search the forum! I didn't have a clue about modding & when i searched this site i must have read 50 threads & i still didn't have a clue! you have to read the threads & tuts and it will slowly, but surely sink in! If you have a pace4000 just do a search for pace4000 and you'll get all the info you need plus where to download the files. you might have to download the files & explore each of them to see what you can find. And if after reading the tuts and guides you start to mod a box and you get an error or get stuck then put a post in...!

I found this site very helpful and i'm grateful to admin, mods & users of this forum...

Keep it up, i want this forum alive for eternity...
