Windows XP Home, or Windows 98.
Both have their positives and negatives though. I have found windows 98 to be a bit more simplistic than XP, and reliable. I have used windows XP for the past several years, and have gotton used to it however. |

Well, I preferred Windows because I never tried other operating systems except Windows. I used Windows 98 and Windows ME before. But I'm using Windows XP for now. Windows Vista is coming out soon!
Anyway, I heard that Linux is basically for computer servers. Is that true? |

well i have tried loads of os. but my favorite for home use is win xp. and if server i will go with win 2003. It is really a good os for server and more easily managable. i tried gnu but haven't found it soothing.
