I like Windows XP home edition.I have like used it
since it came out.And i havent gave linux a try so
i dont know how linux is.But i like windows for now.
Will try linux foe sure to see how it is.But i heard
its confusing.

Windows. I have used Slackware, Red Hat, Mandrake, Fedora. They are good indeed. But for popular softwares and games... Windows of course!

Windows XP Home, or Windows 98.

Both have their positives and negatives though.

I have found windows 98 to be a bit more simplistic than XP, and reliable.

I have used windows XP for the past several years, and have gotton used to it however.

I prefer Windows for a desktop... Hosting definitely all for the *nix or *BSD

Well, I preferred Windows because I never tried other operating systems except Windows. I used Windows 98 and Windows ME before. But I'm using Windows XP for now. Windows Vista is coming out soon!

Anyway, I heard that Linux is basically for computer servers. Is that true?

I like Windows XP for my desktop in my room. It is very nice and easy to handle. I haven't really ever tryed the other operating systems. What are they like?

I like linux but still use win 2000 becouse need dreamveawer , flash and few other sfotwares. So i had to vote for windows. Windows 2000 is not bad. give less headaches.

presently i am using windows 98 as for my system but love linux operating system because we can escape from ddos attackers

well i have tried loads of os. but my favorite for home use is win xp. and if server i will go with win 2003. It is really a good os for server and more easily managable. i tried gnu but haven't found it soothing.
