Pace 4001...need advice

Hi everyone,I recently got hold of a pace 4001 that my son has had for a few years.It has not been used for that time.I ve decided to try and mod it.I ve been doing a bit of browsing on techwatch and learned a couple of things I need to do.Anyway,before I touched anything I went into the engineers menu to see what it said about the card which was still in the box.Idid not connect the cable.
got the smartcard serial code and also the nagra ird serial code.
The smartcard serial code showed ************Waiting
The smartcard version showed as DNASPO11 REVBOD.
I then cut the talkback and tried it with the cable.I tried to get into the eng,menu again but it started to update for about 5-10 mins.
the led display showed PDLD EAA5 LAIT.
When I got into the eng.menu it showed tha the card was never "paired"
I would like to know if i would still be able to get the IRD AND BK from the card.What hardware and software would i need to get?. Thanks in advance

You need to use an LED SIMM. There is a plug & play one on TMC for about £25.
