Diablo 2.3 light CAM and Cas 3+

I just purchased the above due to the great help i recieved from this forum, but i have no idea what to do with it now to enable me to open the channels. is there anywhere i could find exactly what steps to take to program the CAM? my satlelite details are in the signiture.

also where is the best place to get the latest codes/keys from when they change and the steps taken to actually update the Cam when they do change? and also is there a site which has the dates in advance that the codes will change?

First you need to download, and install, the Cas 3 drivers, you can get ehm from duolabs, click on the Download link, the Cas Studio link and download Cas Studio 8.5b.

Do not connect your Cas programmer until you have installed the drivers.
Connect your Cas 3 using a USB cable and your computer should now automatically detect it and install the drivers.

Next download Underworld 132, you can locate this by going into the Satellite Help & Support section and lookin at the stcky thread Download Link.

Go into the Diablo folder and on the second page you will find underworld 132.rar.

You will need a utility like winrar to uncompress the file, you can find this free by typing winrar into a search engine, ignore the pop up asking you to buy the product, just close it and you can use winrar.

Once you have unrared the file extract underworld132.dup to your computers desktop, by clicking on it and clicking the export icon.

Now Insert your Diablo cam into your Cas 3, be careful as you can damage the pins.

Start up the CIS 8.5b software, you should have the icon on your desktop.
Click on the Cam Module tab and the two Diablo Cam icons.
Now click on the little icon with 3 dots, at the end of the File Name address bar, and navigate to underwold132.dup on you desktop.
Click open and the green light on the start update icon should be lit.
Click Start Update and wait for it to load.
All you have to do now is turn Emultors and N2 AU ON in the configuration options.

Exit the Diablo software, but leave the Cas 8.5b software running.
Click on the Utilities tab, and the Common Interface Host icon.
Enter underworld 132 and connfiguration.
Change Emultors to ON, N2 AU to ON, and Emulators priority to 1 Emu 2 Cards.
Exit and insert your cam into your receiver.

You can also change the configuration options using the Cam menu in your receiver.
It sounds more difficult than it is and once you've done it the first time you'll soon be used to it.

Thanks alot, most of the channels are working now. th only thing is premiere which doesnt seem to work apart from 1 or 2 channel, like animal planet. im looking for premiere sport portal but i cant find it on the list and most of the unnamed channels dont open.

Ignore Premiere Sports Portal for now.

Scan in 11798 H 27500 and leave your receiver tuned to Premiere 1 until it opens, you should get the expired keys message if the keys have not already updated.
11758 H 27500 will give you the football channel, if you can't get it try scanning in just above the frequency, 11760 H 27500 or below it 11755 H 27500.

thanks i got it working with the 11758 freq,i think its the right channel becuase it has the match on but its unnamed. the thing is there's no sound with it and when i use the remote to change sound language, it says both in german (i think one should be english) premium 1 didnt open. prob 90% of the premium channels dont open and for some reason the ones that do open start working after about 1-2 mins waiting im not sure why.

yes but theres no sound when i select it. could it be down to me just entering the freqs you gave me without the audio, video, FEC etc? there isnt any sound on most of the premiere channels that actually open

More likely the bug with the Diablo Cam, try removing the Cam then changing the audio to German 2, the re-insert the cam.

still the same, would it be bad to start those steps you told me at the start all over again?just incase i did something wrong

Check the other channels on Premiere, a lot don't have a second sound track, but see if you get any English sound from any others, also try choosing the left & then right audio option to see if you get any sound.
