hey just bought this receiver and read that you can add a programmable card reader internally.

has anyone done this and how effective is it?

Hi, not done it on the 5200, but I have on the TM1000. I just bought the card reader and plugged it in. The card reader is not programmable though, it is just a dumb card reader. The receiver itself holds the software. It worked fine with my DigitAlb card.
