You get capped for 5 hours to 25% of your bandwidth SEVEN days a week.
Thats poor show from VM IMO.
Quote from VMs website:

"When someone is downloading and/or uploading a particularly large amount of information over a long period of time, it can slow down the broadband speed for other users who might just be checking their email or browsing online. So to make sure our service is fair for everybody, we sometimes moderate the speeds for the top 5% of customers who are downloading and/or uploading an unusually large amount."

People who are JUST checking their email or browsing online should be on a package that reflects their habits. IE 512k broadband and making it cheap as chips and not very fast; Not penalising those who have a large connection and download a lot!

I wonder what would happen if BMW sold an `M` spec car with 500hp and said you can only use 25% of that power because you're abusing it....hmmm.....

Move to Sweden, we got fiberoptics outlets in our apartments.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I think it was established that VM don't cap modems.
Its known as traffic management or a pain in the frigging ass by its customers!
