Hi all,

I have the original starview box and subtitles do not work on any of the channels when using the red button titled "sub" on the remote....

My lass is polish and finds it hard to follow the audio conversations where as with subs she gets on fine!!

Does anyone know how to rectify this on original starview?? If not was thinking of getting the new starview 4 but after ringing wizard satellite etc they can not confirm to me if subs will work on all or any of the channels??

Can anyone help pls?

Subs will only work on channels with teletext stream. No the best on an SV1, improved on the SV4 but never really 100% on most softcam boxes.

Thanks Satsmo...Ive heard that Dbox 500 is the best at displaying subtitles so will give it a whirl over my trusted little starview
