Default Have box will travel

Hi there, I going to ask my son inlaw to take his Sly + box up to my van this weekend so we can watch some footie, will this cause a problem, does it need to still be attached to a phone line?

Thanks in advance

It will be fine for a few days

As you want the sport he will have to take his subs card as well - theres no point you taking a full card and sticking it in another box - you wont get the sports channels like that.

My son inlaw after some prigging brought his Sly plus box to my van this weekend but I could'nt get it to work, it came up with 'no signal being received'. Other people with the same box's had no problem, I suspect my 3mm tail on my cable isn't long eneough as the last time I looked at a Sly connection the tail was aroung 12mm long. Any way I got a hard time when it didn't work, cost me a few pints at the pub watching the footie and my team lost!
