Advice needed regarding new digital cable?

Hello chaps need some advice and info i have had the old anolgue digital cable which want down,apprantely the cable faulty.
They are now coming to put in the new digital cable my question will this effect my dbox2? is it same etc?

It shouldnt affect your cable or anything. Just make sure you hideaway and boxes like the dbox when they come to fit the new cable.
Is there such thing as an analogue digital cable?
You must have had a digital cable if youv'e been running a dbox2.

Well mate according to virgin media there is! ie they said my current cable is anologue and they will replace it with digital cable so there must be 2!

Ahhh right fair enuf. Well like i said, when getting upgraded make sure the box is hidden.

no when lines where put in (20 years ago) there where all catv lines, what then mean is the old cable is damaged lol never in my life installing have i heard and diff. They may also means the green cab had not been updated

What a green cab mate?
i was surprised when lost all singanl but was told by them it happens some time as long as it not effect my dbox2 all good and dont worry mate the dbox will obviously be stashed lol

The green cabs are rectangle green cabinets that are out in the street. This is where Vi**in connect the houses in the street to their network.

This one has been vadlised, those punk kids. lolz.
Their quite common to have the doors open on them, my area is quite quiet and they were open. No teen kids round here really.
