Default Need help with my Dragon Predator CAM

I need help with my Dragon CAM module and was wondering if you would like to help? I was having predator 3.66 in it and now changed it to predator 3.68. After which my CAM module didn't work as normal. if I enter example, polsat (7101 13 degrees east) keys via remote control to 01 or 00 the hex numbers to feed in use to be 8 for 01 and the other 8 for 001 or so. But now there is sort of overflow 01 takes about 11 and 001 11 or 10 hex digits.

Any ideas why?

Hi ojgibba,
welcome to the forum.
Are you sure you're entering the keys in the Dragon Cam?
The Dragon Cam, loaded with Predator firmware, doesn't have the option of entering Hex keys, you enter the Decimal keys, 8 lots of 3 numbers.
To do this you enter the cams menu, Debug, OhlAladin and the provider, and then the relevant key.
If the new key is 00 you enter 00-0 and enter the first 8 lots of decimal keys then enter 00-1 and enter the second 8 sets of Decimal keys.

As Predator 368 is AU, Auto Update, for Premiere, Polsat and Digi TV, you shouldn't need to manually enter the keys, just tune to a channel that is part of the package and the keys should update within a few minutes.
Ensure N2 AU is set to ON, you can find it in the cams menu under settings.

Hi michka,
You are right! That was my mistake. My Dragon Cam doesn't have the option of entering Hex keys, only Decimal keys, 8 lots of 3 numbers can be entered to, Debug, OhlAladin and the polsat key 00 is entered in 00-0 and enter the first 8 lots of decimal keys then enter 00-1.
I am kind of new in this field.

My question now is:
Is this the latest predator 3.68 firmware or what do you mean by (The Dragon Cam, loaded with Predator firmware)?
Predator 3[1].68 x box Biss & DCW Update_08-07-2008

If installing the predator 3.68 above, I know one has to install the *.dra file.
What about the Predator 3.68_FUN7_EEPROM1&2 files? Are they also installed?

Thanks again and waiting for your reply

There is only one original Predator firmware and that is produced by kinkdink, the last being Predator 368.
All other predator 368 files are just modified versions with updated keys and added available DCW keys, these are very easy to do using software like Prededit.
The only file that can be loaded onto Dragon Cams are predator.dra files, which can be loaded using a loader card, either a Fun 7 or a PIC F84a, or a suitable Cas programmer and Dummy Card.

If you are able to get 19.2E and 1W you will open a lot more channels, currently the Premiere package 19.2E:
