i just moved from the US to SPAiN and back home i had a captiveworks fta reciever. i would just like 2 know if theres anyway to reach the US broadcasts from here with a new dish and a technomate 5400. because tv in spain sux

Not really, no there isn't directly as we can't see the USA sats in Europe as they are below the horizon.

You might be able to catch some NBC feeds from 15W.

Also if you can get 7W, the MBC channels show some USA programmes on a regular basis.

You could use a very, very long cable from a dish back stateside. Problem is that it will tend to get snagged by passing ships

Apart from that there is a possibility if you have a fast broadband connection - a slingbox on a receiver back home placeshifting the programming to Europe.
