Hello,
I've just purchased a Eurovox PVR. It has a problem though. Even when the Eurovox is in standby state, and I switch the TV off and say for example the TV is DTV mode (It's own built in digital tuner) then I switch my set back on, the TV detects that the Eurovox is on (Autoscart). Also when I switch the box on and then switch it off in to standby, EXT 1 stays on and does not revert back to DTV Now, I have tried this box on another TV and it does exactly the same thing. I have tried another Scart lead and it does the same. I have also tried my Eurovox Max and that does it correctly (I.E when I switch the box into "on mode" the TV detects the box is on and switches itself to EXT1 and switches back to DTV when I switch the box into standby) My other question is, this new DVR Eurovox doesn't have a green light to tell me it's on, is that correct? I'm just wondering if it's faulty or this is normal? Thanks |

My eurovox ex1000 does this aswell... Seen as analogue signals are being phased out and the freeview stuff is available through VM anyway.. it doesnt bother me so much

within tv settings make sure top option is set to rgb and uhf output mode is set to pal I, also ensure scart is coming from tv output on ev and going into av1 or ext1 scart socket on tv however if you have a scart socket that says rgb it should go into that.

Me either.
I think it's a problem with the scart socket on the box. Pin 8 on the Scart looks like it's always "high" which tricks the TV into thinking the box is always on. Anyway, the guy's having it back and swapping for another. I noticed nobody answered my other question though. When the box is on, is there supposed to be a green light like on all previous Eurovox models? Can somebody confirm this for me? Cheers |
