Default VLC to Dbox

Hi Guy's
can someone tell me can you stream from pc to dbox using vlc through a router? and do I have to put any settings into vlc for it to work...been trying to follow PT-1s helpfile but all I get in movieplayer is connect fail.

Just set it up as you would for Flashing
Acsess can be gained via a router or direct
Via a crossover cable
Recomend you use the Latest version of Vlc
Audio still aprob on PPv Channels
OK on FTE Though............Paul __________________

Hi plasterer

Thats the problem m8...I can do all the normal stuff via this computer ie flashing etc...but when I try to use movieplayer it just say's connect failed...checked all the settings for streaming and their fine...even got the latest version of VLC but cant seem to get it going...anyone else got these probs?

haven't done this for a couple of years but pretty sure this is the method i used.....found it would only play files well in th pal format most of mine were ntsc and i couldn't be botheredto reencode them.....got a htpc with dvb-c now so no problem now.

How to Play Divx on Dbox2.rar
