hi can any one advise me i want to buy a 15 inch digital tv with dvd to go in my girls room but dont think it will run off a portable areial am i right? if so how or wot do i need ? nothing to tech plz lol thanks

95% of the time an indoor aerial will not work, or work reliably with freeview, but it depends how far you are from the transmitter and what transmitter you point the aerial at. where are you located (postcode)

According to the following
Find out how to receive Freeview | ukfree.tv - independent digital television and switchover advice, since 2002 You are very close the the Nottingham transmitter. If your daughters room faces the direction of the transmitter you might getaway with a carefully aimed good indoor aerial. A booster might help, if not you could buy a cheep wall mountable aerial and fix it to the wall or eves of the house and point it at the transmitter.

I think the aerials in ARGOS come under the 16 day return so you could get one and give it a try and if no good take it back
