Default SB5101E Lights Out !

Hi Guys
Well looks like ive Bricked my Moto SB5101E just got p.c. activity light.
Any advice to get it UP again..got black cat etc,.need to know what firmware etc.

Ive done exactly the same thing and tried everthing that ive read, but cant get it going. Has ur blackcat cable got an ic? mine hasnt and i wondered if getting one ( with a ic ) would make a difference.

hi search the forum for a full 2mb dump and put that on with the black cat that will get it working i had the same problem

Blackcat cable with a chip, i made my cable but never used a chip.

Had exactly the same problem fixed it by opening blackcat normally let it detect the modem. Then discocnect the power to the modem then select the full 2mb flash you want to write. Plug the power back in the modem the second you click on the open button. If all goes well blackcat should rewrite the firmware at normal speed. Once written blackcat should detect your flash version again.
