Hay guys got my 232 cable but im stuck when it come to the pin's on the modem. witch way do i fit the cable to to modem as theres 5 pins but only 4 used so witch 4 is it ?. All so witch way around do the cable go sorry for the silly Question but im lost and dont wont to fry the modem.
Any help / pic's would be good thanks

From the rear of the Modem (ethernet port is at the back of the modem) pinouts are:
Gnd Tx Vcc (3.3v) Rx Gnd MAX232 uses 4 pins usually from rear down so front Gnd pin isn't used. |

Your modem is on the new software so won't take p option. Have a look here:
New firm to un brick 250 s and 255 s Download the console unlocker and SoftJtag to get the p option back-then you can flash via hyperterminal as tuts. |
