Not I've trawled through the numerous threads and I still feel like I am going to mess it all up.

This talk about blue and red boxes, what does that mean?

Where do I get the DnUpMan file from? ( I assume I need this software to do the flashing?)

So, when the EX5000 arrives, if I have the null canle modem, the DnUpMan and a few hours to study all the info on here, is that all I need? Or will I need to download any other software to do the flashing?

And does flashing alone allow the non free to air channels to be viewed?

forget about blue and red boxes they were earlier models, you know what model you have so should have no problems getting what you want
You do not need DnUpman, all you need is the latest firmware off the chatterbox toolbar (the firmware has the software file built into it so you only need this file to flash the box)
When you have flashed the box and done a scan all channels should be available

Blue and red boxes are models of the old Eurovox Max and you don't need dnupman anymore.

Go to _www.thechatterbox.cc, download and install their toolbar and you will find the software (firmware) you need under the Files/Fixes icon - you'll need v1.1.a

You don't need any other software. These boxes are supplied with FTA firmware already installed on them.
