Default flashing green light

I was wondering if the green light on a pace stb should be either flashing continiously or doing nothing at all.

A friend of mine claims his box flashes now and again then stops. this continues throughout the duration the box is in use.

tricky one i guess... any ideas?

They usually flash when talkback is cut, but not all of them do it, check in technical stuff in the tv guide DHCP return path off, if its off nothing to worry about.

just had another look at the box and the lights are not flashing. went to settings - technical stuff - and i found it says dhcp return ON which i know means talk back has not been cut. i have said to my friend this can be cut but his dad who got the box says no and is worried they will cut the wrong wire ect even tho tutorials are available.

stb pace virgin
