Default is my setup right ?

hi all, i just have no idea.
got 3 lnb's set at what i think is 13E 19E 28E on a 88cm dish with a dreambox 500
trying to set up the dish,i've put the lnb's in this order with the closes to the sth 28E then 19E 13E is that right ?
pointed the dish in roughly the right direction using the web based maps and a compress, elevated dish to setting given on dishpointer web site
using the satelite meter set to 5, i can get the meter to register up to 10 by moving the dish round a little,
i set the dreambox up for 13E 19E 28E and on scans it says not found.
please give me some help, i was in the garden for hours yesterday, and got nowhere

I would recommend that initially you set up the dish with the lnb for 19E in the centre and then use the Dreambox in single sat mode to see if you can get the channels.

Looking from the front of the dish, the lnb for 13E should be on the right and the lnb for 28.2E should be on the left. The ar for the lnbs should slope to allow for the satellites to be at different heights.

if i can't find it, i may look at buying a double headed lnb as the satelittes are quite close

Not worth getting a monoblock as it will cause more problems with the Diseqc switching. The 13E LNB when looking at the dish face should be on the right and very slightly lower than 19E. On your dish the LNBs will be almost touching.

If you have channels missing on 28E, check that you have the relevant transponders (lyngsat) and then scan them to get the channels.

probelm with 28e and sky channels was the lnb needed raising by 3/4 inch, lots more channels now
think the probelm with 13e is my dish is only 4-5ft off the ground and i have a big hedge, think that may be stopping the signal getting to the dish
will put the dish on to the wall tomorrow hopefully that will sort it out
