Been given a pace 1000 to sort out for a mate,he says it was workin perfect until the april hit then put it away in the cupboard until now,done a card for it today.
When booting up it gets stuck on AP:52

tried resetting it and doin net id but still no joy,with feed in or out it still freezes at AP:52
had a quick search of the forum and found others with same prob but never seem to find a solution
any ideas guys

should come up that for the new epg? software as my pace 4000 does that then ap 25 and reboots.....

what did u make fun or mosc?

I could be wrong but almost certain thats a netid problem, did you pull the red jumper b4 resetting the netid.

pull red jumper first then try setting the netid using libby and force update.

@ seamouse already got 3.6 on mate just freezes at ap52

@yusuf checked id first and it was correct but pulled red jumper anyway and reset net id but still the same

not tried libby yet m8 but done the red jumper reset with funcard and tried forced update first thing

if its tuner then check in eng menu if ur getting any signal strenght, if its low then check the tuner normally u might have to resolder the CIMs inside the tuner

cheers ouzi just checked inside tuner and the feckers totally broke off
do i need to take the entire board out to get in tuner (cant really be arsed lol)

Hi

I think the 1000 tuner can be screwed out. If you take the nut off that holds the tuner to box casing and there should be a small screw holding tuner onto board take that off and carefully pull tuner out.
