Default No signal on all channels???

Morning everyone.

i flashed my box yesterday for the 1st time with the 18/04/08 firmware and everything was fine until this morning when i got the on screen message saying "No signal" and then it says searching for signal??

ive done 2 full power scans and even tried flashing it with the 28/04/08 firmware aswell and im still getting no signal.

ive even tried keeping the feed straight and nit bent, but nothing is working for me.

it could be just in my area, is any1 else getting the same problem in the north london(N7)???

im a former telepest customer....my symbol rate is 6.952.... my signal various from 5%-18% red bar... do i need to edit my frequencys??? if so, what should i set them to?

can someone please help?

ive got the eurovox max v box with no subscription with any supplier....

regards

Smile Re: No signal on all channels???

check to see if your cable is live and put it straight into the back of tv ,,the aerial input

you may have to do a scan with the tv,,

see if you get bbc1,,itv,,etc

Default Re: No signal on all channels???

First you need to put the 18/04/2008 firmware back on the box
then download the channel data file you had saved to the box.
when you have done that all the channels should be there.
after doing this when on a channel press the info button on the remote and see what signal strength and quality you are getting.
It is possible that the signal has been disconnected by the cable company (can you check with a subbed box off someone)
as bumble has stated : If you put the cable directly to your TV aerial inlet and tune one of the spare channels in you should be able to get channels 1 to 5 if the cable is live.
