Default Cancelled Virgin Media

Hello.

I've cancelled my Virgin media services as I don't think I get value for money from them. (TV, broadband and phone). I'm going to buy a Eurovox instead. Is it best to keep a minimal service with Virgin or just cut them off completely?

Thanks for any advice.

You could do both, but i'm not sure if they cut the cable feed off or not. I don't think they do but I cannot be 100% sure of that.

I think I'll play it safe then and tell them to keep me on the very cheapest package they have.

Ok. I don't even think you need the package. I know a couple of people who are running modded equipment without a cable subscription .

if they want to be arsey, they can unhook you from the cab. (the green box on the street)

they wont usually send an engineer out to do this

your in trouble when in a densely populated street and vm are struggling for space/connections to the cab....i.e. if they need to put a previously unsubscribed customer on supply and they have no spare connections in the box, they will remove your connection as you are not subscribed at all. sometimes the connectors inside the cab get damaged, limiting the number of connections even more.

Best to keep a minimum package. If everyone paid minimum subs virgin are happy and we're happy. Also you don't run the risk of being taken off the cabinet if and when they do a blitz on removals

hey never come out around my area to disable anybody's connection. The only thing they do is maintenance on the green boxes (E.g new cables and splitters etc) because I saw them doing it before but no cables were left disconnected and I know probably about a quarter of my street are running illegal cable equipment lol .
