Hi All, Noob here
Just bought a V+ box that you don't need a subscription for (you all know what I mean), however wasn't told anything about disabling TB nor not using On Demand from the guy that fitted it. Have been reading up about it on here tonight, but am pretty sure that box has already been blacklisted as I watched some on demand (1 movie & some free music) when I got it. I wasn't being greedy - just playing around! Anyway, on demand stopped working the following day - the other channels still work fine. Have just bought a 50dB Reverse Noise Blocker this evening and will fit as soon as it arrives to disable TB - so won't make the same mistake again! ![]() My question is: If the box has been blacklisted am I guaranteed a visit? If I fit the noise blocker will they think that I've no longer got it or am not using it? Have only had the box a week, so don't really want to throw it away unless it's the only sensible thing to do!!!appreciate any advice thx Noob |

The noise blocker will make them think that you don't have it mate. You shouldn't really use On Demand on a modded box.

you shouldnt get a knock at the door as they wont be able to pin point it to your house, only the box in the street.
you should leave the box disconnected until your blocker turns up,you might of got away with it being blacklisted as i dont think you'd be able to receive any premium channels eg sports, movies |

if its a V+ like he says he's better off just using a blocker as cutting talkback on these boxes can cause rebooting problems
