Default 1st time & fried my card!! Unlooper Help

I bought a powersync unlooper and a phoenix programmer from TMC. I've never unlooped a card before but I want to take then next step from Funcards. I used sidewinder but I think I may have been a bit keen as I've gone and fried my MOSC. I was turning the screw without much idea why I should turn it as it had been running for 20 mins.

Should I be trying to get a constant line of +++++++++? I really would appreciate advice. I know it was a rom 11 BOD but don't have any more data now it's fried (it was a V+ too but fortunately it has bk/ird on bottom).

My mate is going to drop a 2110 round for me with a MOSC in a few mins. I don't want to get this wrong or I have a doorstop.

Can anybody advise me? Should I turn the screw on the unlooper? (Is that called the pot) What should I be aiming to do with the screw? I'm a bit concerned that I will fry the card straight away as the screw has been turned loads. I hope that makes sense.

I wanted to use Sidewinder as no scripts are involved. Seems easier as a first timer then maybe move on to winexplorer/scripts etc.

Thanks in advance

Cheer for that. My mate has just dropped the 2110 off. I've had a look in the engineering menu. It says:

DNASP011 Rev B0D
Software: 3_6_01_po7n_s_s2110

It also says card "NEVER PAIRED" but the box is a my mates who was using it subbed in April.I haven't connected it to the stream.

Any idea what scrip I should use and do I need to turn the screw at all? An ideas re "NEVER PAIRED"? Thanks in advance.

Thanks mate.

I know this is a newbie question and I sound dim but have you any idea what the screw does on the TMC unlooper? And how I should use it safely without frying a MOSC? Can I fry a MOSC by using the screw wrong?

Hi

If the card status is saying never paired dont bother with trying to glitch it, you sure your m8 was using this box.

Anyway if your m8 cancelled vm package then the likelyhood is vm will have sent a false bk unless he took it off stream b4 cancellation.

Regards
