Default Jaeger 1224 Fibo mod

I have made two brackets out of box section for my Jaeger 1224 H-H motor.

Welded some threaded bar on to attach the C/master adaptor plate.

Here are the pics

excellent job there , guess you work with metal and stuff ?

mine is not up as going to make some stronger brackets as i don't think t&k brackets will hold the weight of that motor & 3inch pole

Yes I have access to a tool room etc. T & K`s should be fine holding the 1224 and your dish wod, just make sure you use some big anchor bolts. You could even use all K`s for extra strength.

I had my 1.2m fibo on a set of T&K`s but it was low down.

I have it mounted on a 3" pole rd, but it should fit a 2" no problem.

It will fit a 2" up to 3.5" for larger dish`s

yes it does fit a 2inch pole as i have it on one at the moment.

thinking of using a patio mount on the flat roof with a 1.7m 3inch pole and use some guide wires to hold it down instead ?

as unsure 24inch t&k brackets will hold the dish as its near the guttering

get the 36 inch t & k s thats what i use to install andrew and prodelin on bulidings and they will take 3 inch u bolt with out drilling the brackets

With a nprm with a 90cm or 1.0m or 1.2 m the pole should be a maximum of 1m high with slabs or bricks/blocks only

what dish do you have on the 1224 at the moment

36inch t&k would be way to big and put my dish further out which the wind would put more leverage on them

i don't mind the drilling out of the brackets 10mins with drill and metal file

just a 90cm andrews on it at the moment was thinking of gibertini 1.2m on it later on

it seems ok and its a foot below the guttering, the dish is just aligned to thor 1west as i've not wired up the motor yet (motor works as already tried it), lnb is an edision sl-5 i also have a sharp 0.3 and smart titanium

its on 1west only at the moment as cd is open otherwise it would be fully working
