Default Eurovox MaxV Problems

Hi,

Firstly please accept my apologies for creating a new post, but I've been plodding around for over 3 weeks now and I can't find a solution to my problems...

I got a EuroVox MaxV from a friend recently, but it will only show some FTA channels (and about 10 of what seem like random channels like Dave, Virgin1, Nick Jr and Disc Travel) I can also get all of the radio stations (eg Kerrang Radio, BBC 5Live), but no sports / music etc etc, all other channels just show up as "Please wait, code being updated..."

The model is the Red 07 model? (the metal thingy covers 8 ports)
Version is as follows:
Model: DBV-XC BoxV TDA
S/W Ver: 1.0 STC4 Jun 28 2007
H/W Ver: 2.0t K5
Bootstrap: v001

I have carried out the auto and power scans from 291.000Mhz to 395.00Mhz on 6.887Mbaud .

I've followed all the instructions I can find.... I'm not very technical I'm afraid. can anyone please please please help me and tell me where I am going wrong?

the latest firmware for red box is 21/04/2008 providing its a genuine box

there is a Dublin cdf file in the cdf files for eurovox thread
I think you should have 13 transponders which start at 291000 and go up to frequency 419000 (according to the cdf file)

Just a quick note to say that I got a friend to upgrade the firmware to the 21/04/08 version.... was much easier than I thought it would be
After that I noticed the new flashier menu's and after carrying out an auto scan to find the TP's, one Power Scan later and hey presto!!! am in 140 channel heaven

Keep up the good work on this site guys, it's a fantastic resource.

Thank you all !!!

WB
