newbee looking for start up advice!

Hi guys I have always fancied getting into this motorized sat stuff and wondered what the best set up was for a new guy! I am in manchester and wondered where the best place to go of any gear and what are the pluses of getting on what channels will i get? I am a movie and football freak! like most guys I guess quite like a bit of the hot stuff too!......lol

80cm dish min would be my advice if you can go bigger then do so. do you want hd/ if so that tends to be more expensive for the reciever. shop around for the bits on the net. I have a diablo cam which is easy to program once you try it, opens a bit of footy, some hd channels on thor, movies and of course some of the hot stuff, amongst others depenending on what sats you can recieve.

just make sure if you do go down the cam route that the box and cam are compatable as i had alot of trouble with mine the alternative to the cam is patchable recievers but i nowt abt them. lots of other guys do so read afew treads before you spend your hard earnt cash
