guys can some one plz tell me if i can read bk from atmel the box is di4000-t as people read from pace box 2000 but then again the box di4000-t got one atmel there does the one atmel holds the bk in full i cant use the jtag because the as the place were jtag sits is destroyed thanks

Why not trace the jtag points back and attach it to another point on the board?? quicker and easier than pullin the attie out, yes it can be read from the atmel though.

in a 4000 the bk and ird is in block 5 after you have saved the dump of the st chip

so i can read the bk from one atmel as it got only one atmel

yep ya cetinaly can its all in one line bk and ird well on my programmer its in block 5 i have a clanzer reader/writer i dunno if its in a different line for differant proggers i can take out reprogram and read atmels and st chips no problem without the 88:88 hehe ive been in the cable game for 14 years since the old analogue boxes were first installed

guys need some ones help here after i read the atmel chip the ird reads ok
but the bk read ird twice is this right and wavetech wat u mean by st chip

thanks wavetech i got wellon vp280 and i read it in single chip versions its and its got twin chip vesions i think its for the 2000 box the twin version

if you can get a 4000n or a 4000t st chip dump you can reprogram it as an atmel at49lv1614(if you have got a spare at49lv1614) and it will still work the same ive tried and tested this one and it does work

btw
in the 4000s its an st chip...in the 1000s,2000s and 10001bs its an atmel
