do you need a bt line with sky buy once and pay forever

hi just tried to phone sky about the buy once watch forever offer

spent about 20 mins on hold before getting through to some stupid **** who didnt know what sky was

anyway what i wanted to know is if i buy this pack do i need to have a bt phone line, i dont have bt and it would cost me £150 to get one put in

as i have virgin i dont want to do this (not only because of the monthly rental)

anyway as i only want the sky channels and no interactive stuff i shouldnt need a phone line ....yeah?

as long as you have a phone line I think you will be ok.

NO, you don't need a BT line. I had Sky and I only have a Virgn cable based telephone line.

You only need a BT line for Sky's broadband service.

As robbo71 has already said,any telephone line will do for the Sky Pay once,Watch Forever offer.
It has to remain connnected for 12 months.
