Default Eurovox 5000 PVR questions

Hi all, I'm currently on Sky+ but I'm on Virgin internet so I'm thinking of buying a splitter, cancelling my sky+ subscription and buying a Eurovox with a harddrive.

My main worry is the functionality of the system, and wether it will work as well as Sky+ does.

So I would just like to know if anyone has a Eurovox EX5000 PVR and if they do, how does it compare to sky+?

Any information (or videos showing the layout/menus/live pause etc) on the box would be great,

Thank you.

SKY+ is the best system around and nothing will come close to the + functionality such as the Fast record, series link and Sky Anytime. You are comparing a free product to something you have to pay a subscription for. If you want decent TV no matter of the cost id stick with Sky+

The EX5000 only has a single tuner, so you are very limited with the multi-recording. I would say it's not even close to the Sky+ - but what do you expect for £0 per month

Or even a triple tuner and a SATA interface
