Default Why isnt it autoupdating?

Hi Can anyone tell me what i'm mising here, i've got two pace boxes both 4000's and both programmed with the same flash file but one keeps going down when the keys are rolled and the other doesn't. They are both using funcards and i'm not sure why this happens, is the autoupdate function determined by the flash file or the funcard? Or can anyone suggest something else that i can try? Many thanks...

Hi thanks for the reply, i'm using the 'CryptHexTW-v3.hex' flash file and have tried creating a new extheep file just using the IRD, Box Key and flash file but it still isnt working. My other box updates fine and has also been doing so since April, so i'm not sure what the problem is, got any ideas? cheers

Hi Thanks for the reply. I do the same as you've said but still this box wont update. I was told that you need to put all 0's for the keys in the exteep file which i've also tried but no joy. Its really got me stumped ??!!

yes you can do that and wait, or use the keys from the bar , mate it works, mine have been updating since last big problem in may ish with out no worrys on 15 paces and now my v+

what do u mean by wont update? a update can be days or weeks mate before a new key

i hope you mean update as in keys, not as in update for all channels?

i never need to put any keys in when making a fun card,i just open toxic & leave them as they are. I have to make a cam id up for some cards to work but not all.

Did you follow the tut from the CABLE-CHAT-FORUM?

1FIND THE RIGHT FLASH FOR YOUR AREA (ntl ,tw ,excw) (Funcard AU Fix)
2RENAME THIS MY FLASH.HEX
3OPEN UP TOXIC 7AND ENTER YOUR IRD STRAIGHT IE 12 OR 3E FIRST
4ENTER YOUR BK
5CLICK THE RADIO BUTTON FOR YOUR AREA (ntl ,tw ,excw)
6SAVE THIS TO THE DESKTOP AS MY EXTEEP
7THIS GENERATES A .BIN FILE
8NOW DRAG THE .BIN FILE OVER THE TOP OF SWAPBINHEX
9THIS NOW GENERATES A .HEX FILE
10DELETE THE OLD .BIN FILE SO YOU DON’T GET MIXED UP
11OPEN UP YOUR PROGRAMMER AND WRITE THE FILES ONE AT A TIME IN
12 THIS ORDER
13MY EXTEEP
14MY FLASH
15PUT THE CARD IN YOUR BOX
16PUT BOX ON BBC 1
17GIVE IT UP TO 5 MINUTES TO UPDATE

If you put public keys in it wont auto update properly, thats the main reason funcards go off when nobody elses has, use either AU Fun fix or Chaos fix by sunrise as flash, the latter for 2110 but works on all.
