was 20meg and now 2meg

a few days ago i had 20meg download and 756 upload,and now Maximum Downstream Data Rate : 2148000 and Maximum Upstream Data Rate : 256000
any suggestions on what has went wrong........ thanx

have you changed the mac to rule that out

also there is a gud config file for 20mg in the modems sections, that is if u havent tried it. works treat.

Sounds like you mite be getting hit with traffic management!
Try another mac if its still the same then try spoofing your pc's mac cant see that causing this but you will never know!
and also remember if you are forcing a Config then your tftp mite be ignoring that config and forcing its own!

if you are using a 250 or 255 use the 250 config tool

i have had same trouble and the with my modem, and it turned ou to be certain macs changed after a wrote them---1's beginning 00 02 seem to be ok, and other macs dont seem to be taking on forced configs-depnds what area our in m8' this happened to my n e lins last night---....................

so changing ,mac will prob work m8 if ya aint done i already

use 250 configurator-----long as its already flashed-----u can telnet it just using an ethernet cable if u know the user/pass---- if not ull need a max232/233 cable and a computer with a serial port!!!!
