the box super starview 3

I have just bought a new Box Super Starview 3 - could you give me a bit of advice - I was looking at cable-closet and a few other sites last night, and I am a bit confused over which software I can load onto my Box Super Starview 3. There are different links for version 6.00 and 7.09, but another one saying the Box Super Starview 3 should only use 6.01 ? Does it actually matter - will they all work ? I am not too bothered about nice extras - more interested in stability and reliability - can you advise which would suit best. I have since been advised that 7.09 should be used on a new starview 3 box, but could do with confirmation and link to download , thanks

7.09e or 8.00e should work fine

i flash my starview 3 the box super.i got most of the channels but the problem is i cant get skysports1 and skysports3.can anybody help me with this issue?

both these channels are in there,just go through the channels then rename them,you will also find you will have to rename ukgold,nick & a few others

got starview 3 box and i can't find bbc 1, can info on this. pm if possible?

durning scan you should bring in loads of bbc1 region channels,just wondering are you tel*ewe*t or virg*n area,have you checked your signal? if not on your remote the bottom right hand side has a button with the words ....sig.... this will tell you if you have a good signal and if during your original scan you have taken in itv ch4 ch5 etc you should have bbc....check and see if they came in unnamed ie. tv1032 and so on if not,i would rescan....good luck and let me know how you get on.

thanks totes32 for the reply.i look through the channels 1 by 1 but still could not find skysports 1and 3.i have got skysports2 and other sports channels but not 1 and 3.
can anybody help me on this issue?
