Question Saudi Arabi Channels - Receiver

Hello...this is my first 'real' post in the sat section....

I want to get a 'saudi box' if any1 knows what i mean....i don't really know what make the receivers are or anything, all i know is you can watch saudi channels on them....

Can someone tell me what boxes can receive these channels and also will they work if i have a mini-dish...?

Thanks

Don't know about a dedicated Saudi Arabian receiver, but any digital receiver will pick up the Saudi channels,if pointed to the correct satellite.
Badr 4 being the satellite which has the most Saudi channels,as well as being easier to receive.
You would need a 1m for the best reception,if you are in the UK.
However Saudi Arabia 1 & 2 are available on Hotbird,as is Al Arabiya, which you can receive on a 60cm circular dish, and even a zone 2 minidish easily.
Or are you after the Arab Box,which is manufactured by Eurostar, and has the guide in Arabic and has a second remote control in Arabic script.
Arab Box

Saudi 1 & 2 are fta on 13E and very easy to pick up even on small dishes. KSA 2 is mainly in English

Art is a bouquet of mainly Arabic language channels operating on Hotbird 13E and Nilesat 7W. They are Egyptian not Saudi!

Nilesat needs silly sized dishes in the UK so forget that one for now. What are you wanting from Art??

ART cards are fairly cheap - try the forum advertisers. There were pirate cards available a year or so back but as they were only 20 quid cheaper than the real thing I doubt they sold very well.

BTW - if the other person is after Prem footy forget ART - their glory days with the football are long gone.
