That means your IFA is still working in the background...go to task manager and close it down and start again.

The ports 67 & 68 are being used by your IFA have you closed it down from task manager? or even reboot your computer should stop it...had the same problem once just closing the programme for some reason wont stop it.

I had similar messages when i was trying to use my windows server 2003 to flash the dbox2 after a kein system. I now use a pc with a serial port and xp but... i fired up task manager, and end task any services it named and reallllly quickly loaded the prog again before the service restarted. Think the service using the ports was svchost.exe on mine but as you will see there are lots of them running various things and sometimes the wrong one can close ur pc after 60 secs.

Now with the serial cable and xp its nice and easy, just load ifa with the image ready while the dbox is off, turn it on when asked and voila. Also make sure and turn off zonealarm, comodo firewall, windows firewall if you use any and possibly antivirus while you do it.

another service is using those ports , wot u need to is look for any software that could be conflicting, i.e a vpn client, vmware player, workstation or server.

if you open task manager as suggested earlier and look for svchost.exe select one at a time and click end task, then try IFA after closing each one

tip open a command prompt type in shutdown -a but dont press enter yet, because one of those svchost entry's will cause your pc to want to reboot when ending it, so now when this happeds you have 30 seconds to get to the command prompt and hit enter, this will abort the shutdown

nod32 antivirus was a cause on one of my pcs when i ran ifa.... try rebooting and end the process or give the apps chance to do what they need to do and allow the port to be open.
