Default MAC and CONFIG?

I am using a 20MB MAC and also forcing cmbus-pkg3-nat-any.cmas my config.

I am just wondering, do I have to use a 20MB MAC to get 20MB speed or can I use any MAC and the above config to get 20MB speed?

Thanks. Just so I know that I don't have to be too selective if I ever need to change my MAC.

Thanks again

Yeah, thank god we can use any mac and force the config. If not I wouldnt have 20meg. All the people that live round me are like in the stone ages with their 2mb connections, like my legit subbed modem xD
lol

How are you determining what speed you are getting? The same was happening to me, or so I thought. I was using an unreliable speed test site.
Use this one Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test and also try downloading something from Microsoft and see what speed you get.
