try amd use internet explorer to test also---
m8 try NOT forcing the config use the 1 for the sniffed out mac ---usually a ntlhm-light one but just use it for now..................is ur tftp server ip correct for ur area,, and all other sattings some times annex needs to b changed i beleive...... also run dhcp on your sisters computer then use a mac from that on urs....... do u get the ready light on the modem flash what so ever if so, its on ,just needs mac ... from differnetn area . so you dont keep getting kicked off!! may work some times of day and not others for example......so use 1 from diff area connect modem direct to pc with ethernet cable with no router/switch/hub etc then type in to addrees bar i InternetExplorer 192.168.100.1 press go should get a screen to enter these into:- user : Infinite pass: SetValue remember capitals I S V.... or wont login if u get the infinite screen flash has worked[as u well know!!, im not trying to be patranising], try looking to see if it has locked on to downstrem and not upstream if so it could be mac from same ubr, tftp server ip, or even wrong config., but if u are deffo using the original config for the mac ur using ,for this test purpose, it wont be config. but proberly cuz using mac on same ubr as you.. once you get one working u can then force... bund03 or summit if it has locked on to both up and down -----try the config name again double check spelling etc then try pc options./ try resetting modem and.........if not goto network connectionc right click 'local area net' --as ur modem should be connected directly for now to pc goto 'internet protocol[tcp/ip]' and double click it make sure the settings say to 'obtain ip auto 'and the 1 further down click on auto also.. if they aint already. if this dont solve it just get a load a macs sniffed by brute from your sises comp and keep going with the original configs for the macs---till u get 1 that works, then force it! dhcp force shouldn't take no more than an hour to grab sufficent macs----modem has to be deirectly into pc--no router for dhcp to work properly/ see if its this/// also someareas have more than 1 freqeuncy------check area freq's from bigmaq..-----so try both, thougfh modem should scan for these---if it has worked it shouldn't take no more than 2 mins to start modem, as putting in correct freq' speeds up the process for the modem..to lock.. properly---though ive heard of people waiting for 20 mins for the modem yo lock onto frequency soz may be a bit jumbled hope can make sence of it!!11111111 also in Ineternet explorer this option gets chaged sometime---goto pull down 'tools' menu goto 'internet option' goto 'connection' then goto 'lan settings' make sure thats u click the auto bullet then click ok or apply till its saved et c you will get right soon m8 just keep going and dont give up----good luck my man, u'll have a really good feeling when u get this to work--it ace when a plan comes together,,,

just another thought i have experienced before------
are u using 250 configurator---if so sometimes after i write a mac to the modem when i reconnect it to check it worked---2 digits swap around sometimes i had better luck with the macs starting 00 02....dont know if that may have any relevance.....but soon as u used a mac from my in laws [ubr] it worked first time no probs.... 1 of my previouis threads was about this!!

can u use 250 configurator if u can actually write a new mac its unliklely its fuc*ED,
just out of interest:- after you wrote the mac---make a note of it and then reconnect to modem to see what mac it is----and compare--if same all good but sometime i had this :- 2 digits each time when i wrote it swapped---strange-------but only certain macs didnt swap round after i wrote them i had more joy with macs starting 00 02 instead of 00 d0 i dont know how relevant it is but it worked for me!!!!! there just siome observations i have made over last few days........................... in the mac itself the d and 0 swapped or the b and f swapped round---any1 seen this b4??????? -also isp seemed to have changed the tftp ip [ seemed to have changed the last 2 digits from 52 to 53..though both work--- just the old 1 disconnect all time??????? if u know some1 with a 'chipped' modem near you- ask them if you can read it with your max---duplicate settings to yours------- wghile your there run dhcp force and sniff some mac for yourself from different area!! good luck......this has happened to me on mine and my m8s that i did, mine was fine till i flashed it with the mac i was going to put on my m8s[dooooh] they both had the tops off!!! anyway since then they seemed more of a pain to get working than it used to be and using old settings..............thats why i say try and read a working 'chipped' 1
