Hi all,

i'm not sure which way i should connect my max232 adaptor onto my ambit 250 pins. There are four wires , (black,red,blue,yellow) which way should i place the connector on?

start from the one closest to the ethernet, that means u will only connect to the first four from the ethernet.

hi,ive just had a max232 circuit made can some 1 tell me which way round i should connect the to the pins as all the wires are bloody same colour ive worked out the wires are in vcc/gnd/rx/tx order.thanks

TMC Max 232

GND = Black
TXD = Red
VCC = Blue
RXD = Yellow

GRD goes on the pin closest to the ethernet connecter followed by TXD then VCC then RXD

I ordered a jtag from tailor made circuits on saturday and it still hasn't been posted! Its still on "processing". Don't think I'm going back to them anytime soon
