Default dotnetfx & vjredist files ? what are these files for?

dotnetfx & vjredist.

Are these files only required to flash a modem or are they needed for the modem to run. eg if i give a mate a flashed modem with working mac already on it,do they need to install these two files first before they can use the internet?

hopefully that made sense

cheers

They're required file from Microsoft required to run the MAC changer / 250 Configurator software.

Without them you won't be able to run the program. You don't NEED them as you can change the MAC etc through Hyperterminal, just a lot easier with the Configurator tool.
