Default Sony Bravia X3000

Hi

We've just got a Sony Bravia X3000 (KDL-40X3500) which support DVB-C (aswell as DVB-T) and has a CAM slot. Unfortunately pluging the cable feed into it and doing scan yields no channels.

Does any one know what could be up with it, or know of anyone who has attempted to this working?

(I have a Blue Zeta CAM with Joker 0.79 and a relevent card ready, but we haven't got that far yet)

Thanks & Regards
elFarto

Don't you use Cams for Satellite TV? I never knew they could be used in cable boxes. I think you might have to plug it into a dish.

A CAM can be used for UK Cable. Normally they're used for decoding cable on a PC, but they can be used in any box that supports DVB-C and has a CAM slot.

It appears I've solved the above problem by doing a scan on 666.750MHz. It detected over 250 channels. However the playback is extremely blocky, almost like it has a bad signal.
