Laptop for live online video/audio streaming

I want to buy a laptop to use at home to browse the Internet.

The most important requirement I have is that I would like to use it to watch live online video streaming (with accompanying audio, of course). Are there minimum requirements in terms of the power of the laptop which I require in order to do this?

Also, are there minimum requirements in the broadband service I use or will any broadband service be sufficient?

Hi any spec laptop should be fine but you can pickup a good spec dell inspiron 1525 for £400ish. As for broadband watching live streams requires a fairly fast connection so something 2MB upwards will be fine but trynot to download while watching streams.

Thanks. By downloading do you mean files separate from the stream itself?
