Default Re: Speed capped with business config

The 20Mbit business config has a 6GB limit during 4-9PM then it is stm'd down to 5Mbit/192Kbit just like the residential config.

STM on the other business configs starts in january with 3GB limit during 4-9pm for the 10Mbit config.

Just change your MAC and power down the modem and then you will be uncapped - although you do have to power down!

Or much easier, change the config back to another one, reboot, then set it back to business config, reboot again and no stm applied =)

Wow, I shall be sure to try that. Thanks.

Another question I have is when the speed cap is active, I notice that my ports are blocked on Utorrent. If I change the port number, it becomes blocked within a minute or two. Is there a way to work around this? I will be trying the above method, so if it works, it doesn't matter anyway but I'm just curious.
