Blinking Green Light On New Box

Can someone help me, I bought a brand new kv today and when I plugged it in, I have a green light that keeps flashing and i can't turn it on or off with remote or from the box, unplugged from mains and then plugged back in and just got a flashing green light, so can't accsess menu or set box up.
looks a faulty box but has anyone any idea if i can sort this out myself cos don't wann be mythering the guy i got it off.

Sorted the green light out, I took it back to my suplier and he tested it out at his place and said it's a power suply problem and said they get about 1 in 1000 that's got this fault, so no probs he just gave me a replacement and it's up and running ok.
