does your broadband come from the set top box or a standalone modem?

why do people do this, always trying to scare the pants of some people. unlikey anyone will be knocking at your door even if using a subbed box.
If you are using one(Subbed box) you shouldnt be but unless you say you are then there is no point in people putting the sh*ts up you.

yea mate you can get chipped/modded modem working through your router as wireless or a ethernet cable, that what you were asking mate?

good luck pal

just a friendly bit of advice was all mate,so no silly mistakes are made.Where i come from tampering with a subbed box will get you a knock on the door in a very short space of time along with a charge under the telecommunications act.So if your comments are not informative or remotely useful then go back to bed instead of talking rubbish in the early hours of the morning. We expect more from a senior member and putting the ****s up anyone,as you so nicely put it,was never my intention.

No prob mate ,maybe i was a little touchy, sorry. Though i had no idea comments made in the early hours were regarded as rubbish,i must remember that

& for this "Where i come from tampering with a subbed box will get you a knock on the door in a very short space of time" Now that is rubbish mate, like i said it shouldnt be done but it is ulikely & also Rare that anyone will be knocking at anyones door.Unless vm have some sort of spy cams going on in your area, lol

No hard feelings mate , now lets let this guys thread get back on subject
good luck to you mate & bye

NO mikkle5728 is right this guy from my old street just a few blocks away from mine got jacked because he plugged in a chipped card into his VM box and 2 days later virgin came with police he had to pay a massive fine of £1000 and was lightly let off from a prison sentence.

i only had halee's welfare in mind....we should look after fellow forum members, sometimes an easy mistake can be made and none of us would want that i'm sure.
