Default Help needed flashing!!

I just got my arnet box today but having a few problems flashing it. I'm not sure if i'm doing it correctly or not.

I've followed the instructions i.e the red button approach, connecting the box first to the mains and starting up the loader, "start" then press the red button twice on the remote followed by the red standby button at the top of the remote, however it seems to be just stuck in "data downloading 0%"

btw i'm using a usb adapter on Vista as i don't have a serial on my laptop- is that the problem or am i doing something wrong here, can anybody provide a step by step tut if there is a different way of flashing please?

you shouldnt use the red button way as it can confuse the box

open the loader
locate your firmware
click start then plug the box in and the download should begin
if this still dosnt work then you'll need to adjust your com port settings in device manager

thxs, tried changing the com port settings to
115200bps
no parity
8 bit
stop bit 1
on Com port 2

Also tried with 9600bps. but no luck.

I'm going to try and directly connect the cable to the serial port without a usb adapter and see if that works. Will need to try that on my mate's pc.
