Hello all , this will probably turn out to be one of those silly problems but i'll see what you guys think anyway.
i flashed a 200 modem , everything went well,i put a mac on it using ambit-tool. Everything worked & i could access internet. I was also able to read it in ambitconfig tool with no problems at all. I tried the modem today & it brought me to vm-activation page so i thought i must have had a conflicting mac so i went to change it using admit-config but it wonldn't read the modem. My ethernet lead works fine with other modems but i changed it anyway with no joy. I thought maybe i need to flash it again so i hooked it up & i dont even get 1,2 or p option now. I get some writing followed by allot of lines like this : Attempting Downstream FEC lock @ freq= 459000000 Hz, QAM64 Attempting Downstream FEC lock @ freq= 453000000 Hz, QAM64 Attempting Downstream FEC lock @ freq= 447000000 Hz, QAM64 Has this been bricked or something? it was flashed & working though cheers Last edited by Roco; 30-09-08 at 05:01 PM. |
