Had a look at this on ebay:

Technomate TM-5200D Super USB Patched Receiver on eBay, also Digital Receivers, Satellite Boxes Receivers, Satellite Cable Freeview, Consumer Electronics (end time 09-Oct-08 21:39:36 BST)

Will this simply work as "plug and play"?

Do I have to do any updating or patching to get it to work?

Will I turn it on and nothing will happen?

Also noticed the technomate 5400D super

I have read the descriptions but can't really see any differences between 5200 and 5400, does anyone else know?

Also do these recievers have an RGB output?

Hi, The TM5400 has a CAM slot and a multicas card slot, the TM5200 has neither.

I've not had a 5200, but when I got my TM1000 it was pretty well plug n play (ish)

You just have to select a satellite (whatever your dish is aligned to ) and perform a satellite scan. There will probably already be a default channel list though, but it won't probably be up to date.

Also if there are any missing transponders, they are easily added.

The box will not turn on and nothing happen.

It will boot up and run its pre-installed software, just like your DVD player or TV does.

Mate I have sent you a PM! The 5400 has a card and cam slot while the 5200 does not and is just a FTA receiver. Yes they have RGB out
