anyone know if the sb5101e can be modded and if so can u point me in the right direction plz thanx

It can be modded because I have one but I bought mine ready-modded.

yes it can be modded with a blackcat jtag lead,,use the full 2meg dump that is found around the forums and then use the 13.5 dump after
all works well.

here m8 flashed the bootloader for this to a 5100i by mistake and wiped the memory still looking for 8 meg ram flash for 5100i anyone ?

Do not use the 13.5 dump for the 5101 thats for the 5100

Use haxorware on this device thats the best out at this time

you can use rs232 or blackcat for this modem if you didn't buy the modem as a premod then you will have to solder the 10 pin header for blackcat and the 5pin header for rs232.

you can get the push in 10 pin headers online that you dint need to solder.
