Hi my remote stopped working and i've tried different remotes but nothing can anyone tell me how I can fix this please

either disabled via eng menu or the cystal is knackered in the box whill will need replacing

i know this is an old thread but I'm also having probs with the remote for my pace Di4001n box. The remote does work from time to time but is getting progressively worse. Would this also be an issue with the crystal? (I've tried three different remotes and they work when used with a different cable box.)
Did you try replacing the crystal BMW? and if so, did it work?

try a blue remote or the vplus style that should work

The remotes I have are blue. I've got one of the really old ones with the channel and volume buttons on the side, and at least two of the newer style ones where the channel and volume buttons are shaped around the dpad. One of the newer ones is branded virgin the other one may be NTL I'm not too sure, I would think the remotes themselves would be the same tho' just a different logo.
I've tried three different remotes with good batteries. Would using V+ remote make a difference? The box didn't come with a V+ remote!

i have the shark style ones black and blue and the thin glow in dark remote mate, but its now against rules to sell or link here, so pm me, the thin ntl one i have normally does all paces

Have you tried rebooting the box when the remote starts to appear sluggish?

Sometimes this can correct the problem.

Yeah, tried rebooting, tried leaving power off for a day. Doesn't seem to help. I'm not looking to buy a remote unless I know that's definitely the problem, but thanks.
