infinity software with two passwords ?

Hi guy I got a 250 modem from a guy anyway Im a bit stuck as to whats right and whats wrong. The first question I have is I have two passwords for the modem I think. I say to becouse I can log in to the modem with this login. admin / infinite useing Softjtag. But when I log in to the modem from the 192.168.0.1 I have to use the login Infinite and SetValue. So I take it the secend passwords is the one I need to use ?.

Now On a side note I think its best to give the modem a new password so it can not be loged in to and bricked. So how do I go about doing this is there a easy way to do it like as in some software or somthing othere then HT. Sorry for the silly Questions but Hay got to ask as Im a big big noober LMAO.

Oh one last thing I dont have cable yet so Im going to take the modem up to my GF moms place she dont have the net but she has got the tv . So would I just have to plug it in and a way We go are is there a bit more to it.

u need a mac config tool to change user ans pass then y will need a working mac from another area you can use same tool to write mac to modem

I think The modem has a new mac on it as its not the same thats on the back of the case. Ill have a look and see if I have A mac config tool and if I do I can the change the password so V wont beable to brick the modem right ?.

If not what do I need to do to stop the modem getting bricked as soon as it get a signal

admin infinite is to get in2 ur modem infinite setvalue is to get in2 ur modem page using internet explorer.

you will need the 250 configorater (sorry 4 the spelling ) to put your macs on and change the passwords pm me if you need more help
